FAQ's
1. What size pots are the orchids in? All of our orchids are
grown in a tall 4.5" square pot, except our phalaenopsis, which are grown in a
round 5" pot. The varieties in the 4.5" square pots are quite large, and
comparable to what you might typically see in a 6" pot from most growers. In
fact, many of our customers choose to "bump" them to a 6" for selling purposes
with no problem whatsoever. The Tillandsias arrive bare-roooted, meaning they
are not in pots.
2. How many orchids come in a case? Can I
mix varieties within a case? All cases are pack 24, except the
paphiopedilums, which are pack 30. There are certain varieties you can mix to
make up a case of 24. they are as follows: -You can mix Dendrobiums, Exotics,
and Oncidiums (and oftentimes cattleyas) in one case. -Phalaenopsis and
Paphiopedilums must be ordered in full cases by themselves The Tillandsias come
in either a pack 50 or pack 100. please specify upon ordering
3.
What is the "Orchids Direct" case? This is by far our most popular case.
It is a mix of Dendrobiums, Oncidiums, and Exotics. They arrive in a color
cellophane pot wrap for an added touch, and all flower stems are staked and
include a decorative butterfly or dragonfly clip. We decided to give this case
a name years ago
we call it "Orchids Direct"
4. What is your
minimum order? You can order as little as 1 case at a time, as long as it
is a full case of 24. we cannot break cases. In addition, no order is too
large, we can handle it! 5. I have a store that uses UPC barcode
stickers. Can you include them on my pots? Yes! If you have a specific
barcode you use, just give us the info and we can make the stickers and put one
on each pot. If you do not have a specific barcode number, we can use the
industry generic orchid code. Just let us know!
6. Is FedEx/UPS a
safe way to deliver orchids? What if I need a credit? Absolutely. It
is the only way we ship, so trust that it works! Having said that, we are
dealing with a live product, and sometimes damages/issues do occur. We always
stand behind our product, so if you have an issue upon delivery, you must
contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We also ask that pictures be taken
so that we may better assess the problem. Digital photos can be emailed to us
at: info@turtlepondorchids.com or through our personal emails.
