Exotics
Intergeneric hybrids consist of several
different genera in the Oncidium family, that are crossed together to
create new "man made" intergeneric orchids. Some common
intergeneric names are Vuylstekeara (Vuyl.), Colmanara (Colm.),
Odontonia and Beallara. The result of these hybrids leads to new genera
names that can get pretty confusing. Because of this, we found it much
easier to use the generic term, "Exotics". The range of the "Exotics"
is as broad as it gets. These are the ones you will hear comments like "Is
that an Orchid?? Is it real??" They are truly unique and eye
catching!
